I wrote this song about a guy named Stan. He used to come into the restaurant that I worked in. I remember the day I very first saw him. I remember where he sat, what he ordered, and who served him. It was like one of those moments in a movie where the rest of the world slows down to half speed, the wind blows your hair back and the light of heaven is shining on your face, cue Marvin Gaye... I never did get the courage to do more than want to vomit when I would see him. But all in all, he made me a very happy songwriter. :)
